Estimates by SOS Children’s Villages International state that 310,000 children in Sierra Leone grow up without parents looking after them. Many of these parents were lost to the Ebola epidemic and many years of civil war. Without the nurturing of a family, these orphans are left at the mercy of sickness, poverty, and natural and man-made calamities.
Designfor Greatness Foundation lends these children a helping hand. We visit orphanages to spend time with the orphans and provide resources for food, clothing, medicine, and other necessities. Our charity also helps them access educational and recreational materials to help them experience a happy childhood and discover their potential to grow and lead successful lives.
